Cooperative group 15 – 20 kilometres away has two groups but one has dispersed.
Future goal of the HwH microfinance projects is to have a number of rural cooperatives
but retaining SNUsacc only.
Preliminaries:
Coordinator provided overview of cooperative microcredit projects.
Provided cultural awareness understanding in readiness.
Design HwH questionnaire utilizing and adapting a framework from an Indian microcredit
questionnaire.

Familiarization visit to villages and introductions.
Discussed fieldwork scheduling and manageability for coordinators and myself.
Implementation
Travelled to village locations daily.
Interviews were approximately 1 hour in duration.
Coordinator identified which participants would be interviewed for the project.
I was introduced to participants by the coordinator. I then conveyed questions to the
translator. The resulting responses were noted in my field work diary. This data was then
transferred to a more formal process upon returning to my accommodation.
